Rain Barrel Gnome Hunt
Gnomes were creatures that took care of vegetation. They were known to be good with their hands which is great for growing plants. They protect the gardens to ensure a successful harvest. Rain barrels provide many of these same qualities.
Join our hunt for gnomes guarding rain barrels! You will find all of the clues you need below. Be sure to scan the QR codes at each barrel location to learn from the Gnomes.

Clues
1. We fix for you so you can go zoom. Wayne you go fast by you’ll see yellow and blue.
2. I’d give you a hand or maybe a paw. A shirt might help, but that’s not all!
3. I’m yellow, surrounded by green, and make your teeth white. Make sure to brush before midnight.
4. I’m at the Main place to Bee. Are you thirsty? Have a bubbly break.
5. I’m not a super power, I’m made from a bean. I’m in a drink that is Main-ly caffeine.
6. Look for the mural on thy wall. You will see thy balloons floating tall.
7. Head to the spot where it rains from the ground. Two rain barrels is what will be found.
8. My Oh My! On Center you’ll achieve a marvelous new look. Maybe some curls, highlights or a trim. Open the door and come on in.
9. I’m off to get a cut. Make sure you know what you Main-ly want. Watch out for the Bark-ing of excitement.
10. I may be old and carry a cane, but wise enough to know the location is on Main. Don’t go the extra mile, this place in Hilliard ends in tile.
11. Just around the corner you will find our tree home, the perfect place for a nesting gnome.
12. We will Make your place feel like home with fixtures that will be your own.
13. I have branches but I’m not a tree. The white house on Main will help you figure it out.
14. Where is the small house that supports businesses with their Main logo blue and white.
15. This place is out of this world. If you find it you will be a star.
16. Find the garten with space for your whole gnomily. There isn’t much of a roof for this rain barrel.
17. Sweet treats are our Main bling, come see us when you want delicious things.

18. If you want this to be less tragic, go somewhere magic. Your anticipation must be brewing.
19. You’ll find a painter, but they don’t create art. Law may be short, but the walk is long and one might find people buried on this street.
20. Us gnomes have to have big muscles to work in a garden. You can get your workout at this Landmark location.

This project is a collaboration between Hilliard Schools (Brown Elementary, Hilliard Hub Arts and Ecology), Hilliard Arts Council, Keep Hilliard Beautiful, Coca Cola, and many Hilliard businesses and associations.
This was truly a community planned and created event. And the Hilliard students were the key to making this event a reality.
